I think I need to stop getting connected to any player the Tennessee Titans ever sign. This revelation has come in the wake of week two of the NFL season and in just two games Titans quarterback Will Levis has lost the game for the team in both the funniest and worst ways imaginable. The first week, it was an errant throw that led to an interception. A ball which he should have never thrown was preceded by him almost instinctively falling into Surrender Cobra.
In week two it was a fumble that resulted from Levis yet again trying to do something erratic with the ball to try and prevent a sack. In doing so, he somehow goes full superman, horizontal just inches from the ground.
Both instances resulted in, frankly, hilarious images that will surely be meme templates for the remainder of the season at least. But the big issue I have here is that I talked so much about how Levis was going to be great. The last time I felt this comfortable about a Titans quarterback, it was Ryan Tannehill, and we all know how that ended. So, moral of the story, maybe I should reconsider getting so connected to Titans quarterbacks.
