SALAMANCA — A new restaurant with a Mexican flare is now open at the Salamanca Mall.
Rock’n Taco, located at 100 Main St., is the family-owned establishment of Rob and Amanda Blair providing the community with something different to have for lunch or dinner.
“We create simple, delicious homemade Mexican-inspired dishes,” Rob Blair said.
The Salamanca couple, along with Amanda’s father, Leon McClure, have over 90 years of restaurant experience, Blair said.
“My wife and I have also been catering parties and weddings over the past 10 years,” he added.
Although the restaurant had originally opened March 6, the widespread shutdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic put the business on hold for several weeks.
Thankfully, as businesses start to open back up across the region, Rock’n Taco reopened May 15.
“We pride ourselves on making homemade food using fresh ingredients, made with love and care,” Blair said. “We have always wanted to have a place of our own to share the food that we love to eat and create.”
Rock’n Taco is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call (585) 378-6655 or follow them on Facebook.
