Salamanca Police

  • April 12, 6:54 p.m., Marshall Jacobs, 37, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle and operating without insurance. The charges stem from a traffic stop. Jacobs was released with an appearance ticket.
  • April 15, 9:40 p.m., Destiny V. Redeye, 26, of Salamanca, was arrested on two bench warrants issued out of Salamanca City Court. Redeye was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Redeye was held pending arraignment.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff

  • ASHFORD — Zachary M. Burdic, 30, of Ashford, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. April 11 on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. Burdic was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail, where he was held pending further court proceedings.
  • RANDOLPH — Akyia L. Crowe, 37, of Salamanca, was charged at 8:40 p.m. April 11 with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charge stems from a traffic stop, during which deputies allegedly discovered an unspecified quantity of methamphetamine. Crowe was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail.
  • COLDSPRING — Jason L. Nichols, 41, of Coldspring, was arrested at 6:20 a.m. April 12 on a warrant issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Nichols was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail to await extradition to Pennsylvania.
  • PERRYSBURG — Stacy M. Balsano, 37, of Machias, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. April 13 on a warrant issued out of Wyoming County Family Court. Balsano was transferred to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.
  • GREAT VALLEY — Alissa M. Potter, 29, of Great Valley, was charged at 12:10 a.m. April 16 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving on the right side of the roadway and inadequate lights. The charges stem from a traffic stop. Potter was released with an appearance ticket.
  • GREAT VALLEY — Zoe M. Gross, 20, of Salamanca, was charged at 2:24 a.m. April 16 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to obey a traffic control device. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Route 219. Gross was released with an appearance ticket.

New York State Police

  • OLEAN — Cara L. Skye, 35, of Salamanca, was charged at 4:48 p.m. April 10 with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Skye was reported held.
  • GOWANDA — Charles T. Bennett, 48, of Great Valley, was charged at 12:22 p.m. April 14 with second-degree criminal contempt. Bennett was released on his own recognizance.
