BRADFORD, Pa. — The fourth round of the 56th Penn-York Junior Golf League season was held July 28 at Pine Acres Golf Course, beginning in heavy fog and ending in extremely warm conditions.

Owen Wright of Cardinal Hills shot a 76 to win Division I, while Leon McCardle of Caledonia matched that score to win Division II. Both finished at 4-over-par.

In Division III, Kayd Caskey of Bavarian Hills shot a 42 over nine holes to tie Mason Myers and won a playoff to claim the title.

In Division IV, Keegan Smith of Bavarian Hills and Kaysen Beaver of Cardinal Hills each shot a 33 from modified tees. Smith won the playoff for his third consecutive victory.

In the Division I girls’ competition, Molly Leslie of Bartlett shot a 56 to win by 12 strokes over Allison Sikora of Orchard Park.

This year’s total registration is 102 golfers, with 78 participating in the July 28 round at Pine Acres.

The final Penn-York tournament will be on Monday, August 4th at Bartlett Country Club in Olean.
