    • July 10 – Summer at Stone House Event at Cattaraugus County Museum, Machias. Linda Hunter will present “Got Scraps? Let’s Make Quilts.” Free. Call (716) 353-8200. 7 p.m.
    • July 10 – Ellicottville Gazebo Series in front of town hall in the village. Lawn chairs, picnic baskets, coolers and even the family pet is welcome. Performance by T.B.A. Free. 7–9 p.m.
    • July 11 & 12 – Village of Knives at Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds, Little Valley. Celebrate village’s history as cutlery capital of the northeast. Over 200 vendors on site. Knife dealers and collectors welcome to educate, appraise, buy and sell. $1 for adults, kids 12 and under free.
    • July 11 & 12 – Great Valley Band Jam at Great Valley Firemen’s Clubhouse, Depot St. Performances from 10 bands over two days, family and kids activities, food vendors, car cruise and more. Visit greatvalleyfireco.com.
    • July 12 – Salamanca Summer Fest at Main Street, downtown business area. Live performances, craft and food vendors, classic car show, fire department demonstrations, kids activities and more. Contact Mayor Magiera at 945-3110 for more info. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • July 12 – Community Meal at Trinity United Church of Christ, Gowanda. Take-out only. Italian sausage hoagies, tossed salad, chips, fruit and a cookie. Use Park Street entrance. Free. Donations appreciated. 4 p.m.
    • July 12 – Sunset Movie Saturdays at Jefferson Street Park, Salamanca. Hosted by Seneca Salamanca Chamber of Commerce. Showing of “Sneaks.” Free. 8:30 p.m.
    • July 13 – Sunday Sound Series at Griffis Sculpture Park. Performances by Mirage featuring Mediterranean-inspired jazz. Held at Mill Valley Road area of the park. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and small coolers. 2 p.m.
    • July 17 – Ellicottville Gazebo Series in front of town hall in the village. Lawn chairs, picnic baskets, coolers and even the family pet is welcome. Performance by T.B.A. Free. 7–9 p.m.
    • July 18 – Music at the Triangle in downtown Randolph. Performance by The Lindsay Brown Band. Bring a chair and blanket. Free. 6–8 p.m.
    • July 19 – Walking Tour at Griffis Sculpture Park. Take a 90-minute tour of the park with Mark Griffis, son of park founder Larry Griffis. Meet at Mill Valley Road entrance. Visit griffissculpturepark.org. 11 a.m.
    • July 19 – Friends of ASP’s Fire Tower Saturdays at Allegany State Park. Meet at Summit Ski Hut parking lot. Quarter-mile hike up to the tower and climb to the top for breathtaking views.  Visit friendsofallegany.com. Free. 11 a.m.
    • July 19 – Sunset Movie Saturdays at Jefferson Street Park, Salamanca. Hosted by Seneca Salamanca Chamber of Commerce. Showing of “Captain America: Brave New World.” Free. 8:30 p.m.
    • July 19 & 20 – Marvin ‘Joe’ Curry Veterans Pow Wow at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, Salamanca. Showcase of Native American dances from across the continent and honoring Native veterans. Visit senecapowwow.org.
    • July 20 – Friends of ASP Red House Sawmill Sundays at the sawmill. Knowledgeable tour guides will be on hand to share expertise and answer questions. 10 a.m. to noon.
    • July 22 – Petting Zoo at Salamanca Public Library, 155 Wildwood Ave. Visit with animals from Mr. Morton. Free. 3–5 p.m.
