    Salamanca Police

    • June 23, 8:39 p.m., Elijah Ground, 33, of Salamanca, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, class A misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a violation. Ground was held pending arraignment.
    • June 24, 11:05 a.m., Hilton Johnny-John, 32, of Salamanca, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended/revoked, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speeding, an infraction. Johnny-John was released with an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 11:45 p.m., Jackie Chamberlain, 57, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation, following several complaints in the city. Chamberlain was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 7:59 a.m., Amber White, 37, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speeding, a violation. White was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 3:09 p.m., a 16-year-old Salamanca girl was charged with third-degree assault, a class B misdemeanor. She was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 4:31 p.m., Marvin M. Shantler, 29, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and operation of a motor vehicle without a license and operating a motor vehicle with no inspection, infractions. Shantler was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 5:10 p.m., Lateef d. Ghani, 45, of West Valley, was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, class A misdemeanors; and first-degree harassment, a violation. Ghani was held pending arraignment.
    • June 25, 7:39 p.m., Garret J. McArthur, 22, of Holland, was charged with second-degree unlawful feeling a police officer, a Class E felony, and a number of violations and infractions, including reckless driving, second-degree reckless endangerment, speeding, failing to stop at a stop sign, operating an unregistered motor vehicles on highway, no license plate or single license plate, failing to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle and drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway. McArthur was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 25, 11:12 p.m., Adam B. Wakefield, 41, of Fort Collins, Colo., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle without a license and insufficient tail lamps, infractions. Wakefield was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 27, 3:33 p.m. Waymon A. Kennedy, 19, of Steamburg, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and passing through red light and operating a motor vehicle with no inspection, infractions. Kennedy was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 27, 9:18 p.m., Andrew L. Button, 35, of Salamanca, was picked up on an arrest warrant, charging him with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Button was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 28, 1 a.m., Jed J. Nickerson, 27, of Salamanca, was charged with first-offense driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, unclassified misdemeanors; and several infractions and violations, including speeding, windshield tint, failing to signal, failing to signal, failing to stop at a stop sign and no license plate or single license plate. Nickerson was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 28, 1:25 p.m., Shylia A. Dunning, 37, of Dayton, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speeding, an infraction. Dunning was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 28, 5:23 p.m., Brandon A. Futrell, 24, of Salamanca, was picked up on an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree harassment, a violation. Futrell was held pending arraignment.
    • June 28, 9:25 p.m., Katharine L. Washy, 33, of Hamburg, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and failing to signal, an infraction. Washy was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • June 29, 1:46 p.m., Salvador Casares, 46, of Allegany, was charged with second-degree assault with intent to cause injury to an officer, a class D felony; aggravated harassment of an employee by an incarcerated individual, a class E felony; second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, second-degree criminal impersonation and resisting arrest, class A misdemeanors; first-degree driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08% or greater and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unclassified misdemeanors; operating a motor vehicle without insurance, an infraction; and disorderly conduct, a violation. Casares was held pending arraignment.
    • June 29, 9:13 p.m., Jerry A. Halstead, 75, of Salamanca, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and unsafe backing, an infraction. Halstead was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

     

    Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

    • COLDSPRING — Hanna Brown, 43, of Napoli, was charged at 9 p.m. June 20 with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, unclassified misdemeanors. Brown was released with an appearance ticket.

     

    New York State Police

    • RANDOLPH — A 17-year-old Randolph resident was charged at 1:07 p.m. June 23 with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony. The juvenile was released with an appearance ticket.
    • SOUTH VALLEY — James E. Baran, 50, of Jamestown, was charged at 12:13 a.m. June 27 with third-degree criminal tampering and sixth-degree conspiracy, class B misdemeanors. The charges stem from an incident reported June 5. Baran was released with an appearance ticket.

Peterson was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
    • SOUTH VALLEY — Misty Harkins, 45, of Jamestown, was charged at 9:39 a.m. June 29 with third-degree criminal tampering and sixth-degree conspiracy, class B misdemeanors. Harkins was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
