Salamanca Kiwanis Kids recognized for great year
SALAMANCA — Advisors Kari Kloss and Michelle Sullivan took time to recognize Prospect Elementary School’s second graders who were part of the Kiwanis Kids group, otherwise known as K-Kids, this past school year.
These young leaders spent the 2024–25 school year together, building leadership skills through challenges that required cooperation, planning and listening. They also spent time celebrating their community members by creating thank-you gifts to share with employees of the community, employees of the school, veterans, those who reside in the local nursing home, the Thanksgiving dinner provided at the high school and for the K-Kids’ families.
Sullivan and Kloss said they are incredibly proud of these students who showed such respect and assistance during each of the monthly meetings. They said they look forward to seeing where life leads them and hope they continue to carry strong leadership traits with them.
The K-Kids were Jack Bosworth, Olivia Chriss, Logan Fluent, Griffin Hill, Cayelle John, Fiona John, Kaysen Kuhaneck, Kylie Kyler, Novelle Morton, Eila Puvel, Alek Streicher, Jaxton Tucker, Hattie Watt, Bradleigh White, Ivy Williams and Madison Williams.
