ELMA — The Salamanca modified boys lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on Thursday with a 21-4 victory over Iroquois, after a fast start gave the Warriors a 6-0 lead.

Camden Farmer earned the win in net with four saves. Logan Armstrong led the offense with eight goals and two assists while Jaxson Ross had two goals and four assists, Jesse Stahlman two goals and three assists Kelvin George four assists. Jesse Stahlman led the team in loose ball controls with eight, Elias Printup had six, Takoda Armstrong five and Tayoni Galante four.

Salamanca’s next home game is Monday, April 15, against Gowanda at 5 p.m.

Salamanca 16, West Seneca East 6

SALAMANCA — The Warriors started their season with a 9-0 run and defeated West Seneca East on Monday, April 1. Elias Printup made eight saves in the win.

Tayoni Galante led the team with seven goals, Jason Ross had three goals and four assists, Logan Armstrong three goals and three assists and Kelvin George two goals and two assists. Midfielder Kelvin George recorded a team-high 11 loose balls and Jesse Stahlman had five. Salamanca also had solid defensive play by Matthew Beehlar, Takoda Armstrong, Carson Mohr, Tayoni Galante, who switched to attack the second half.
