OLEAN — Randolph’s Branson Morrison had the low round as the CCAA Div. II East sent its top golfers out for 18 holes at Bartlett Country Club for sectional qualification on Monday.
Morrison carded an 85 to earn the league’s medalist honor. In total, the seven of 24 golfers, plus one alternate, qualified for the Section 6 championships on Monday, May 20, at River Oaks in Grand Island.
Allegany-Limestone had four sectional qualifiers, led by runner-up Sean Campbell (86). He was followed by teammates Michael Davis (87), Cole Lechner (87) and Braden Johnson (95) in third, fourth and sixth, respectively.
Jarrett Pond qualified for sectionals from Salamanca, carding a 92 for fifth. His teammate Brandon Milanowski had a 97 and earned the alternate spot in eighth.
Ellicottville’s Mike McGuire carded a 95, tying Johnson for the sixth and seventh spots.
