CATTARAUGUS — The Cattaraugus Free Library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for Christmas.

The library will be open Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The library will also be closed on Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. Normal hours will resume Jan. 2.

After the holidays, library staff encourages the community to visit the library and see the continued improvements. The circulation desk will be receiving a face-lift with new DVD cupboards and work areas.

The new computers that the library recently won will be installed shortly. More computers mean more areas for patrons to work.

Come see the new, beautiful rotating bookshelf built and donated by the library's board president, Ed Erhart.

New titles that have been added to the circulation this week include:

"The Butterfly Girl" by Rene Denfeld

"The Christmas Town" by Donna VanLiere

"Running with Sherman: The Donkey with the Heart of the Hero" by Christopher McDougall

The Cattaraugus Free Library wishes a safe, warm holiday to all patrons and community members!
