CATTARAUGUS —The Cattaraugus Free Library is looking for one more board member. We are looking for an individual who has an interest in improving and growing the library.

The library has made great strides over the past few months. Both attendance and book circulation has doubled. The interested person would need to volunteer an average of six hours per month plus attend one monthly meeting, usually held on the second or third Wednesday of each month.

The next board meeting is on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public. If interested, please join us or inquiry within the library.

Continued programming at the library includes:

Knitting Club, Tuesdays at 1 p.m.

Adult Coloring Hour, Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

Pre-school Story Time, Fridays at 10 a.m.

On Monday, Sept. 30, the library will host a Medicare and NYS Health Exchange Information Session from 2-4 p.m. If you have questions concerning your Medicare coverage or if you are considering switching supplemental insurances, please stop into the library. Registration is not required.

New additions to the shelves include:

"Evvie Drake Starts Over" by Linda Holmes

"One Good Deed" by David Baldacci

"Mrs. Everything" by Jennifer Weiner

"Shamed" by Linda Castillo
