NOTICE SEALED BIDS

The Salamanca BPU is soliciting bids for a replacement of both of our current Return

Activated Sludge Pumps at the City Wastewater Treatment Plant. A summary description of the Pumps and VFD package are as follows: Two Dry pit submersible pumps rated for 700gpm @ 20.5ft, 460-480 volt, 10HP and inverter rated. VFDs have harmonics mitigation requirements and must be compatible with the motor package. A complete detailed bid packet can be obtained at the office of the City Clerk. Sealed bids must be received by April 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Office of the Salamanca City Clerk at 225

Wildwood Avenue in Salamanca, New York 14779. At 1:00 p.m. on the same date, the bids will be publicly opened and read at the Salamanca Board of Public Utilities, also at 225

Wildwood Avenue, Suite #6.

The submittal is to be in a Sealed

Envelope clearly marked as "Salamanca BPU RAS Pumps Bid". A properly executed non-collusive bidding Certification (included) must be submitted with each bid.

Bid prices must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from bid opening. Bids which contain provisions for price adjustments to reflect changes in market conditions, etc., cannot legally be accepted. The Salamanca Board of Public Utilities

reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
