REGARDING THE RESIDENCY

REQUIREMENT FOR CITY COURT JUDGES.

PLEASE TAKE

NOTICE that a Local Law has been introduced to the City of Salamanca

Common Council, on May 27, 2026, designated as Local Law No. 2 – 2026 to amend Salamanca City Charter Section 8, relating to the residency requirement for City Court Judges.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said local law is on file in the City Clerk’s Office located at 225 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York, where it is available for public inspection during regular business hours.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a Public Hearing upon said local law has been scheduled for June 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., to be held by the Common Council at City Hall, 225 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given. Written comments may also be directed to the City Clerk, 225 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York, 14779, on or before 4:00 p.m. on the 9th day of June, 2026.
