ELLICOTTVILLE — Dalayla Alexander filled the stat sheet Monday night, helping the Ellicottville girls basketball team get past Pine Valley.
The Eagles won, 30-29, in a CCAA East game. Alexander had seven points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals to help Ellicottville (11-5, 9-0) in a slim victory.
Allison Rowland (6 points) grabbed 10 rebounds and five steals and Ryah Quinn (six points) chipped in 11 boards and two steals to lead a dominant defensive effort for Eagles surrendering just 29 points.
Mattison Cadle scored a game-high 10 points for Pine Valley (6-9).
Salamanca 46, Cattaraugus-Little Valley 34
SALAMANCA — Lezly McComber posted a double-double Monday to power Salamanca as it swept the season series with Cattaraugus-Little Valley. McComber had 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks for the Warriors (6-9, 5-3).
On her Senior Night, Jillian Rea added 13 points, five rebounds and four steals. Bella Wolfe grabbed eight rebounds, Makenzie Oakes made four assists and Karina Crouse had five rebounds and four steals.
For Cattaraugus-Little Valley (3-11), Leonie Ruel scored 15 points and Alex Minnekine had 13 points.
