Jacqueline Carroll
Jacqueline Carroll
ALLEGANY — God has called our beloved mother, Jacqueline Carroll, home.
Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend whose life was defined by her warmth and fun-loving spirit. As a mother of seven, she made caring for others her life’s true calling, always prioritizing her family and friends. Her selfless support, laughter, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She loved hosting friends, playing cards, golfing, taking road trips to visit loved ones, tackling home projects, enjoying a glass of Scotch and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. She embraced life in her own warm Kansas “farm-girl” way. The beautiful love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her family and all the lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, Pat Carroll (Steve Finno), Jeanne Flanagan (Timothy Flanagan), Tom Carroll, John Carroll (Brooke Carroll), Lynn Giarrizzo (Jeffrey Giarrizzo) and Kathy Beals (Greg Beals); her grandchildren, Sean Flanagan (Lauren Flanagan), Caitlin Bruce (Ted Bruce) and Timothy Flanagan, Reese and Ashlyn Carroll, Josephine, Jamilyn and Jacob Giarrizzo, and Kayla, Amber and Morgan Beals; and her great-grandchildren, Gilmore Flanagan and Fiona and Patrick Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Carroll; her son, Michael Carroll; and her grandson, Peter Flanagan.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at St. Bonaventure Church, 95 E. Main St., Allegany. Burial will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Route 417, Allegany.
