LITTLE VALLEY — The 183rd Cattaraugus County Fair continues today and runs through Saturday at the fairgrounds in Little Valley.

Gates open daily at 8 a.m., with the midway open at 1 p.m. Vendors are typically open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., depending on the crowd.

Kicking off Aug. 1, the first few days of the fair included an antique tractor pull, the parade of animals, the first demolition derby night, the Black Cat Hell Drivers thrill show and several 4-H and FFA shows.

Sunday was Patriotic Day, celebrating America’s 250th birthday, while Monday was both Youth Day and Senior Citizens Day, offering a discounted admission for both younger and older fairgoers.

The two country music concerts were Tuesday with Dylan Scott and opening act Highway Home taking the grandstand stage, while Sammy Kershaw and opener John Foster country-rocked the fairgrounds Wednesday night.

Grandstand events for the rest of the week include:

• Thursday, Aug. 6 – CS Promotions NY Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 7 – Monster Truck Rally, 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 8 – Monster Truck Rally, 1:30 p.m.; and CS Promotions Truck & Tractor Pull, 6 p.m.
