SALAMANCA — Lucille M. Jarvis, 94, of Salamanca, died Monday evening, July 6, 2026, at the Absolut Care of Salamanca.
Born Nov. 20, 1931, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late John and Elma Pavlick Bias. She was married Oct. 4, 1952, in Bradford, Pa., to Howard Jarvis Sr., who predeceased her in 1982.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1949.
Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. She was musically talented, playing the piano, organ, guitar and accordion.
Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Akin of Jamestown, Patricia Luccassen of Milton, Fla. and Darlene (Stan) Milanowski of Salamanca; two sons, Daniel Jarvis of Salamanca and Howard Jarvis Jr. of North Carolina; three granddaughters, Meredith Fries-Isaac and Megan Peddacio, both of Salamanca, and Leslie (Thomas) Ivey of Virginia; a grandson, Aaron Jarvis of North Carolina; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Bias, and four brothers, John Bias, Mitchell Bias, Gene Bias and Jim Bias.
There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
