NAPOLI — Diana J. Howard, 55, of Napoli, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday morning, Feb. 10, 2026.

Born July 2, 1970, in Gowanda, she was the daughter of David Baker of New Albion and the late Mary Baker. She was married July 2, 2017, to Robert Howard, who survives.

She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and of the Bear Clan.

She was a graduate of Cattaraugus High School, Class of 1988.

Diana had been employed in housekeeping at Allegany State Park for over 14 years.

She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and boating, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving besides her husband and father are two daughters, Kimberly (Kenneth Grainer) Eberle of Little Valley and Courtney (Jeremy) Zimmerman of Kennedy; three sisters, Debbie (Todd Moore) Baker and Donna (James) Ferguson, both of Salamanca, and Teresa (Craig) Dechow of Salamanca; a brother, Darryl Baker of New Albion; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Jasper, Molly and Thor.

Friends called Monday (Feb. 16, 2026) at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, at which time funeral services were held with Rev. Michael Lonto officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Friends of Strays, 69 Crawford St., Salamanca, NY 14779.
