Elaine A. Bromley

ELLICOTTVILLE — Elaine A. Bromley, 75, of Ellicottville, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at home, following a short illness.

Born Dec. 12, 1949, in Springville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Mitchell and Helen Lucille Hosey Frank. She was married to Robert Bromley, who predeceased her in 2015.

She was a graduate of Ellicottville High School, Class of 1968, and earned her associate’s degree from Alfred State College.

Mrs. Bromley had been employed as a paralegal with Brady & Swenson, Salamanca, for over 25 years.

She enjoyed camping.

Surviving are two sons, Nicholas (Rachel) Alexander and Travis (Kristi) Alexander, both of Little Valley; a stepdaughter, Bobbi Jo (Gerard) Matthew of Easton, Pa.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a brother, Rod (Denise) Mitchell of Ellicottville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Mitchell.

There will be no visitation. A private graveside service was held in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Ellicottville.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
