Michael A. McKinney

SALAMANCA — Michael A. McKinney, 46, of Salamanca, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa., following a long illness.

Born Oct. 22, 1978, in Summersville, W.V., he was the son of the late Earl and Lucy Chriss McKinney.

He was a graduate of Randolph Children’s Home School, Class of 1996.

Mike had been employed at the former Parkview Supermarket prior to his disability.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a video game enthusiast and will be remembered for his love of family and for being able to put smiles on people’s faces.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Cori McKinney of Salamanca; two daughters, Emilee Delity of Salamanca and Helen Aldrich of Pennsylvania; three sons, Aaron Rose of Kennedy, Nicholas Delity of Salamanca and Kasey Ellis of Salamanca; four sisters; two brothers; and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1–3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, in Allegany State Park. Please bring a dish to pass.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
