LITTLE VALLEY — The first competitions of the 182nd Cattaraugus County Fair took place on Saturday and Sunday as youth from across the county took the stage with their animals.

Saturday was highlighted by the 4-H Dog Show, the 4-H Horse Jumping Show and the Open Beef Show.

A full day of events on Sunday began with the 4-H and Open Exhibition Poultry Show and the 4-H Horse Costume Class. The remainder of the day consisted of the 4-H Miniature and Driving Horse Shows, the 4-H Hog Show and the Open Hog Show.

There is still plenty of time to check out the animals, Youth Building exhibits and more during the remainder of the week through Saturday. Stop in and chat with Cattaraugus County 4-H members to learn more about their projects.
