Salamanca Police

  • July 1, 1 p.m., Douglas I. Reed, 41, of Kill Buck, was arrested on a warrant. He was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
  • July 2, 4:59 a.m., Cheylene E. Cooper, 31, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest, class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a violation. Cooper was processed, held and issued an appearance ticket.
  • July 2, 5:58 p.m., William Wilder, 51, of Salamanca, was arrested on a warrant with the charges of aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony; aggravated family offense, a class E felony; and third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. Wilder was processed, arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
  • July 3, 12:59 a.m., Jackie Chamberlain, 57, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation. Chamberlain was processed and held pending arraignment.
  • July 3, 2:24 a.m., Avalyn Rhodes, 19, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor, and speeding, an infraction. Rhoades was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
  • July 3, 2:39 p.m., James S. Zimmerman, 56, of Salamanca, was charged with second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor. Zimmerman was held pending arraignment.
  • July 5, 10:30 p.m., Jackie L. Chamberlain, 57, of Salamanca, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Chamberlain was held pending arraignment.
  • July 6, 5:05 a.m., Samantha K. Beaver, 26, of Lawtons, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater, unclassified misdemeanors; failure to keep right and move from lane unsafely, infractions. Beaver was released with an appearance ticket.
  • July 6, 5:07 p.m., Jesse S. John, 36, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court. John was held pending arraignment.

 

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

  • LITTLE VALLEY — Dana D. Conklin, 41, of New Albion, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. June 28 on an active arrest warrant issued out of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. Conklin was transferred to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office for further processing.
  • LITTLE VALLEY — Brian M. Hill, 47, of Friendship, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. June 28 on an active bench warrant from New York State Police. Hill was transferred to the state police for further court proceedings.
  • RANDOLPH — Jeffrey E. Zink, 44, of South Dayton, was apprehended at 7:56 p.m. June 30 by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on an active felony bench warrant, transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail and held awaiting further court proceedings.
  • COLDSPRING — Kevin M. Stafford Jr., 33, of Coldspring, was charged at 10:40 p.m. July 1 with second-degree attempted assault, aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt, all class E felonies, following reports of a physical domestic incident. Stafford was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

 

New York State Police

  • GOWANDA — William D. Morris, 39, of Collins, was charged at 6:20 p.m. July 1 with public lewdness – intentionally exposing one’s private parts in public, a class B misdemeanor. Morris was processed and issued an appearance ticket.
  • SOUTH VALLEY — Jayden L. Storey, 22, of Salamanca, was charged at 11:08 a.m. July 4 with third-degree criminal possession of an assault weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon/ammunition feeding device, class D felonies; and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Storey was held pending arraignment.
