    BUFFALO — The following local residents have graduated from the University at Buffalo:

    • Morgan Brown of Little Valley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences.
    • Nolan Edwards of Salamanca graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
    • Marcus Evans of Randolph graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the School of Management.
    • Sylvia Ford-Grover of West Valley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the School of Management.
    • Jacob Krajenski of Cattaraugus graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
    • Conner Parmenter of Little Valley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Arts and Sciences.

    ALFRED — The spring 2024 Dean’s List at Alfred State College features the following local residents:

    • Mitchell Gregory of Ellicottville, a Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning major.
    • Zachary Hammond of Gowanda, a Cyber Security major.
    • Xander Hind of Randolph, a Building Trades-Building Construction major.
    • Alaina Kaczmarczyk of Gowanda, a Nursing major.
    • Kirk Mohawk of Gowanda, a Surveying & Geomatics Eng Tech major.
    • Daniel Pfeffer of Ellicottville, a Heavy Equipment Operations major.
    • Daniel Stang of Gowanda, a Welding Technology major.

    BUFFALO — Beth Stang of Perrysburg has been named to the spring 2025 Dean’s List at Buffalo State University.

    BUFFALO — Buffalo State University congratulates the following local residents who earned their baccalaureate and graduate degrees in fall 2024 and spring 2025:

    • Tashawni Cornfield of Gowanda graduated with a B.S. in Individualized Studies.
    • Andrew Gonzalez Kennedy of Gowanda graduated with a B.S. in Social Studies Education 7-12.

    • Valerie Janora of Cattaraugus graduated with an MSED in Childhood Education Initial Teaching Certification.
    • Monica Kenney of Gowanda graduated with an M.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies.

    NEW PALTZ — SUNY New Paltz announces the following local residents were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester: Benjamin Fisher, of West Valley, and Emily Ossont, of Ellicottville.

    STATESBORO, Ga. — Georgia Southern University recognizes Mathurin Griffith of Randolph, N.Y., for being named to the spring 2025 President’s List.

    CANTON — Ginna Hensel, of Great Valley, has graduated from SUNY Canton’s Bachelor of Science in Crime Analysis.

    CANTON — Erik Shattenberg, of Great Valley, has been named to St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for achieving academic excellence during the spring 2025 semester.

    ROCHESTER — Alicia Fiske of Salamanca graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nazareth University on May 17 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology.
