Keith J. Gunsolus

SALAMANCA — Keith J. Gunsolus, 65, of Salamanca, died early Friday morning (June 27, 2025) at home following a short illness.

Born Aug. 18, 1959, in Olean, he was the son of the late Merle and Anna Jones Gunsolus. He was married in September 1994 to the former Laurie Schoch, who survives.

He attended Ellicottville High School and later received his GED.

Keith had been employed at McHone’s Industries in Salamanca for over five years and had also been a long-haul truck driver.

He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, hunting, camping and fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Surviving besides his wife are a sister, Sandra Gunsolus of Olean; a brother, Leslie Gunsolus of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, infant Michael Gunsolus, Timothy Gunsolus and Larry Gunsolus.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, N.Y.
