    57 graduate from Cattaraugus-Little Valley

    CATTARAUGUS — Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School awarded 57 students with graduation diplomas during commencement exercises held Friday.

    Board of Education President Benjamin Stoll, Superintendent of Schools David Foster and Middle School Principal April Preston presented the diplomas. High School Principal Tina Maines was unable to attend, but wrote a letter of congratulations included in the program.

    The program for the 25th commencement at Cattaraugus-Little Valley included a welcome from Class Co-President Bailey Cannon, Zoe Whitmore giving the valedictory address, Alexander Crowell delivering the salutatory address and Class Co-President Saje Eschborn leading the tassel exchange.

    Foster and Stoll also issued congratulations, the Rose Ceremony was led by Jack Morgestern and Emma Williams, set to “Five More Minutes” by Scotty McCreery. Members of the senior high class sang the national anthem, and the recessional was “Good Riddance” by Green Day.
