Salamanca student named Triple C Award winner
SALAMANCA — For more than 20 years, the Office of the New York State Attorney General has acknowledged the state’s most exceptional young people with the presentation of the Triple C Award.
This is Prospect Elementary School’s second year recognizing a student for this award. Kase Paulson has demonstrated strong character as a student, a 2024 Terrific Kid honoree and a member of the community with his involvement in E.A.R.S.
This program applauds students for their Commitment, Character and Courage. It is strongly believed that recognition from educators, parents and other mentors builds enthusiasm for learning as well as desire to persevere, study and thrive.
Kase often helps the animal rescue non-profit E.A.R.S. by carrying supplies and water, feeding the animals and cleaning the animals’ enclosures.
But Kase’s specialty is puppies — from the moment the puppies are born, he helps his family care for them. Oftentimes, he has a favorite puppy, but he finds time to dote on them all. Kase helps to carry them in and out of their fenced areas and crates. He also helps to socialize the puppies and makes sure they have food and water.
In addition, Kase learns specific traits about each pup so that information can be relayed to adopters. Plus, he will hold the pups for photos and videos to share online to help find those willing to adopt. Kase shows kindness and compassion when he is doing all this by being very calm, careful and confident with the little pups. It is Prospect Elementary’s honor to recognize Kase for his commitment, character and courage.
