Randolph’s 51st annual Arts & Crafts Festival coming Saturday
RANDOLPH — Historic Main Street will be buzzing with activity Saturday when festival-goers from across the region attend the 51st annual Randolph Arts and Crafts Festival.
The one-day show will offer a full day of entertainment for the whole family from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
Presented by the Randolph Area Community Development Corporation (RACDC), the event will feature approximately 90 talented crafters and artisans offering handmade wares ranging from handcrafted birdhouses, jewelry, jellies and jams to wreaths, soaps, candles and primitive country décor.
Eight food vendors will offer a tasty selection of festival favorites, including fresh-squeezed lemonade, fried dough, taffy, steak sandwiches, curly fries, Italian sausage, pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers.
The Baby Contest will take place in Triangle Park at 10:30 a.m. The event will give proud moms and dads the chance to win bragging rights if their child is chosen to be Prince or Princess of this year’s festival. Prizes will also be awarded for Prettiest Eyes, Cutest Giggle, Best Hair and other categories. All babies ages 12 months or younger are invited to participate. Registration starts at 10 a.m. at the RACDC information booth.
Thanks to the John McLaughlin Fund, RACDC will be providing fun activities for the kids at no charge in the FunTastic KidZone on Bank Street. The activities planned will include face painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a balloon artist from noon to 3 p.m. and airbrush tattoos from 1–2 p.m. Nick Mambretti’s Super Hilarious Magic Show will entertain the kids during two performances at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
DJ Dior will keep the energy high by providing music throughout the day. The Harmony Production Company Barbershop Quartet will perform their four-part melodies in timeless tradition as they stroll along Main Street from 3–5 p.m.
Sponsored by Julie’s Groom and Board, the popular Dog Show will take place in Triangle Park at 2:30 p.m. The canine event allows proud owners to show off their pooch and win a prize in various categories, including Largest, Fluffiest, Smallest, Nosiest, Best Looking, Most Well-behaved, Most Talented, Looks Most Like Their Owner, Prettiest Eyes and Best Dressed. Entrants must register their four-legged friends at the RACDC information booth, beginning at 2 p.m.
RACDC will be raffling off several great prizes at this year’s festival. Enter to win a Blackstone griddle, a set of Amish-made poly Cornhole Boards or a 52-quart RTIC cooler. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and are available at various downtown businesses, before the festival and at the RACDC booth during the event. Drawings will be held later in the day at 4:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit future Randolph events.
The town of Randolph will celebrate its 200th anniversary next year. Bicentennial calendars will be available for purchase, and the 50/50 raffle fundraiser will be drawn Dec. 6. All proceeds will go towards the bicentennial celebration in 2026.
Every summer since 1974, festival-goers from all over the area have come to the Randolph Arts and Crafts Festival.
“The Arts and Crafts festival is a long-standing event that brings the people of Randolph together by boosting local pride, supporting businesses and turning streets into stages where community spirit shines,” said RACDC Director Deb Miller.
