Salamanca Police

  • June 1, 8:16 a.m., Angelo A. Contreraz, 30, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court. Contreraz was held pending arraignment.
  • June 4, 1:06 p.m., Kacy R. Ferguson, 29, of Olean, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor; use of a motor vehicle without interlock device, a class A misdemeanor; and unlicensed operator, an infraction. Ferguson was released with an appearance ticket.
  • June 4, 4:43 p.m., Evelyn A. Bennink, 46, of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant related to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. Bennink was released with an appearance ticket.
  • June 5, 6:37 p.m., Mitchell J. Wirth, 29, of Cattaraugus, was charged with operation of a motor vehicle while registration is suspended/revoked, an unclassified misdemeanor. Wirth was released with an appearance ticket.
  • June 6, 6:38 a.m., Krystal R. Victor-Nosie, 21, of Killbuck, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. Victor-Nosie was released with an appearance ticket.
  • June 6, 8:17 p.m., David W. Greene, 39, of Salamanca, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of an assault weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, class D felonies. Greene was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
  • June 7, 3:17 p.m., Kyle E. Cooper, 32, of Salamanca, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest, class A misdemeanors; disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment, violations. Cooper was released with an appearance ticket.
  • June 7, 6:20 p.m., Terry L. Nichols, 42, of Salamanca, was charged with aggravated criminal contempt and first-degree introducing dangerous contraband into prison, class D felonies; aggravated family offense, a class E felony; resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, class A misdemeanors. Nichols was held pending arraignment.
  • June 8, 1:08 a.m., Joseph L. Laforme, 25, of Gowanda, was charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor; consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, unsafe turn and two counts of speeding, infractions. Laforme was held pending arraignment.
  • June 9, 3:55 a.m., Dennis H. Allen, 43, of Buffalo, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. Allen was released with an appearance ticket.

 

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

  • NEW ALBION — Christopher Bise, 44, of Salamanca, Nicole Brown, 29, of New Albion, Nicholas Hughes, 42, of Salamanca and Khristerpher Ellis, 35, of New Albion, were each charged June 1 with sixth-degree conspiracy, a class B misdemeanor. Hughes and Ellis were additionally charged with petit larceny,  class A misdemeanor, and trespass, a violation. The charges stem from the investigation into a report of persons allegedly trespassing and stealing copper telephone lines. All four were released with appearance tickets.
  • SALAMANCA — Amy R. Hushon, no age or address provided, was charged June 2 with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony. According to deputies, Huston allegedly stole over $21,000 from the Seneca Nation Optical Division over an unspecified period of time while she worked there. Hushon is due back in court at a later date.
  • WEST VALLEY — Evan G. Bohlen, 41, of Kenmore, was charged at 7:12 p.m. June 2 with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. Bohlen was released with an appearance ticket.
  • ELLICOTTVILLE — Richard J. Kozlowski, 39, of Jamestown, was charged at 7:16 p.m. June 4 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, class A misdemeanors; and registration display violation, an infraction. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Route 242, during which Kozlowski was allegedly discovered to possess suspected methamphetamine, suspected crack cocaine, suspected psilocybin, suspected LSD, and miscellaneous unspecified drug paraphernalia. Kozlowski is due back in court at a later date.

 

New York State Police

  • CATTARAUGUS — Lance Lavallee, 43, of Cattaraugus, was charged June 3 with second-degree menacing, acting in a manner injurious to a child and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, class A misdemeanors. Lavallee’s status was not reported.
  • GOWANDA — Kaela Sierra Jimerson, 26, of Gowanda, was charged at 8:30 p.m. June 3 with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater, unclassified misdemeanors. Jimerson was released with an appearance ticket.
  • DAYTON — James W. Lewellyn, 45, of Angola, was charged at 11:43 p.m. June 7 with fourth-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, class A misdemeanors. Lewellyn was released on his own recognizance.
