What they’re saying about Amar’e Marshall
Mark Schmidt, St. Bonaventure Head Men’s Basketball Coach
“Amar’e will be a great addition to our backcourt. He is a proven college basketball scorer, someone who has routinely averaged double-digits as a three-level scorer. Amar’e is a St. Bonaventure type of player — he loves to play, tough and ultra-competitive. He’s also proven to be an outstanding student in the classroom. We expect Amar’e to make a major impact next season and are thrilled he’ll be a Bonnie starting this summer!”
Sean Neal, St. Bonaventure Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach
“Amar’e is a proven scorer at the Division I level having scored 14-plus points per game in each of the last two seasons at Albany. In addition to his ability to score the basketball, he has improved his passing and decision-making skills each year at the collegiate level, including a career-high 2.5 assists per game this past season. Amar’e’s proficiency to play on or off the ball will provide Coach Schmidt with another experienced, dynamic guard in the backcourt.”
