Leroy Henry, Cayuga Nation of the Grand River Territory, Ontario, Canada, took second place in the Sculpture division with his carved stone, ''Dawa:noha’ (Our Mother).'' -

Natasha Thompson, Akwesasne Mohawk, was awarded first place in the Weaving and Textile division for her exquisitely beaded vest and leather moccasins, ''Onekwénhtara.'' -

Peter B. Jones, Onondaga of Allegany Territory, took second place in the Pottery division with his, ''Beginning.'' -

Victoria Ransom, Akwesasne Mohawk, was awarded second place in the Painting division for ''A Grandmother’s Embrace.'' -

The Seneca Allegany Event Center hosted the Ohi:yo’ Art Market on Saturday. Presented by the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center and Visit Seneca Nation, the public event featured more than 50 of the finest Native American artists from all over the United States and Canada. The event kicked off Friday night at an invitation-only reception attended by the artists, Seneca Nation dignitaries and guests.
