SALAMANCA — Led by double-winners Gabriella Bly and Kynleigh Wass, Salamanca grabbed a win over Chautauqua Lake on Oct. 17.
Bly took first in both diving and the 500 freestyle while Wass won and recorded PRs in the 200 freestyle and 100 fly. Charli Ross, Mikaela Tennity and Addison Follman won the 50 freestyle, 200 IM and 100 backstroke respectively for the Warriors as well.
Salamanca set 32 PRs in their senior night win.
“These girls are really beginning to peak at the right time in the season,” Salamanca coach Laurie Lafferty-John said. “The amount of PRs tonight was just amazing.”

Allegany-Limestone 73ALLEGANY — While Salamanca and Allegany-Limestone each won six events, it was the former that claimed the Oct. 15 win.
Juliana Smith led the Warriors, winning both the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. Charli Ross, Gabriella Bly and Mikaela Tennity also won an event for the visitors. Ross claimed first in the 200 IM, Bly in one-meter diving and Tennity in the 100 breaststroke.
Bly’s score in one-meter diving pushed her into Salamanca’s all-time top-10 in the event.
Salamanca also won the 400 freestyle relay.
For A-L, Sammi Vecchio and Lauryn Ball won two events apiece. Vecchio took the top podium spot in the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke, Ball in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Both were also on the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams that took first.
