LITTLE VALLEY —There were just two contested races in the 32 Cattaraugus County towns on Election Day.
In one of the races, the results are close enough that the absentee ballots to be counted next week might determine the outcome.
In East Otto, William Spors has a 26-vote lead over Angela Sherman for a one-year town council seat, 216 to 190. Most all of the absentee ballots would have to break for Sherman for her to win.
The only other contested race was in Perrysburg, where Jennifer Dabolt beat Mary Jane Stuhr by a better than 2-to-1 ratio. Dabolt had 461 votes to 200 for Stuhr.
