NOTICE SEALED BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received for the following: An approximately 989 square foot Water Plant Pump Room ceiling repair. The City of Salamanca Board of Public Utilities Water Plant facility located at 71 Water Street, Salamanca, NY 14779 needs a ceiling in the pumping room to be re-constructed due to deteriorating wood framing and failing ceiling wood. A corrugated metal clad ceiling with new framing and lighting fixtures is the desired outcome of this project. A complete bid packet can be obtained at the office of the City Clerk. The Salamanca BPU will show prospective contractors by appointment only up to and including August 1, 2025 with sealed bids submitted by August 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Office of the Salamanca City Clerk at 225 Wildwood Avenue in Salamanca, New York 14779. At 1:00 p.m. on the same date, the bids will be publicly opened and read at the Salamanca Board of Public Utilities, also at 225 Wildwood Avenue, Suite #6.

The submittal is to be in a Sealed Envelope clearly marked as "Pump Room Ceiling Bid". A properly executed Non-Collusive bidding Certification (included) must be submitted with each Bid.

Bid prices must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from bid opening. Bids which contain provisions for price adjustments to reflect changes in market conditions, etc., cannot legally be accepted. The Salamanca Board of Public Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
