ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The CITY OF SALAMANCA, NY is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

RECONSTRUCTION

OF WASHINGTON STREET

WEST CITY LINE TO NY ROUTE 353 – CENTER STREET

CONTRACT No. 2026280203

Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 225 Wildwood

Avenue, Salamanca, New York 14779, until Tuesday February 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. At 10:30 AM the Bids received will be

publicly opened

and read aloud.

The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and materials for excavation, subbase placement, asphalt pavement construction, concrete curbs, concrete curb ramps with tactile warning devices, storm drainage, erosion/ sediment control, survey, traffic

control, signs and pavement markings on Washington Street in the City of Salamanca, NY.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Avalon Document Services, www.avalon

planroom.com.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office or at the offices of Urban

Engineers of New York, D.P.C., Construction Exchange of Buffalo and WNY, or Dodge Reports. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing

Office.

Bidders wish to purchase printed copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained through Avalon Document Services. The fee paid to Avalon is nonrefundable. Only official plan holders will be allowed to bid on the project. Bidders acknowledge that they are responsible for the review of all components of the Contract Documents, including all specification sections and drawings, regardless of how many drawings they print and in which format/size they are printed.

Project must

comply with the Seneca Nation

Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) of 6/23/1993 and the most recent amendment of 7/14/2018. See Section H in the Bidding

Documents.
