SALAMANCA — Lori Johnson, 61, of Salamanca, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at Buffalo General Hospital, following a short illness.
Born May 22, 1964, in Jamestown, she was the daughter of the late Verona and Betty Sischo Johnson.
She had been employed as a cashier for many years, most recently with Papa’s Place II in Limestone and formerly at Richard’s Smoke Shop, Steamburg.
Lori enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and was referred to by many as “Auntie.” She enjoyed music, and attended many concerts throughout the area. She will be remembered for her big heart and loving personality.
Surviving are a sister, Susan (James) Cawley of Bradford, Pa.; two brothers, Bruce (Penny) Johnson of Ellington and Gary (Marla) Johnson of Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Darlene Kiendl; and two brothers, Ronald Johnson and David Johnson.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday (March 21, 2026), at the Coldspring Fire Hall, Steamburg.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
