Skiers enjoyed the clear skies and sub-freezing temperatures Friday on the slopes of HoliMont, the first day of the annual Winter Blues Weekend festival in nearby Ellicottville. The 25th iteration of the popular blues and jazz event kicked off Friday evening and ran through Sunday afternoon. The next festival — Winter Music Jam — is slated for Feb. 13-15.
