Henry’s Pressing Issue
Bills Fans
Brandin Cooks got his hands on the ball, went to the ground, and came up without the football. The people of western New York endured another postseason of agony.
After enduring four straight Super Bowl losses with a Hall of Fame quarterback in the 90s, the Bills have had a similar experience with Josh Allen, with the small difference being that they’ve been put out of their misery a little earlier.
Against the Broncos, they seemed the more talented team, but with five turnovers, and multiple bad missed throws from Allen that could have sealed the deal, they made just enough bad mistakes to be able to conquer their destiny.
For a fan to be able to enjoy Buffalo Bills football, they can’t think of the team as competitors — because for 56 years that’s only led to disappointment. They’re protagonists, unstoppably hurtling towards football happening to them. This is not a battle with fate. Fate has already won.
