With steady snow showers during the holiday week, skiers and snowboarders could again make their way down The Wall at Holiday Valley on Friday afternoon. However, the region will be getting a brief break from wintry weather, as temperatures are expected to be unseasonably warm for much of the week — a so-called January thaw. The warmer temperatures, combined with expected rainfall, will likely eliminate any accumulated snow for the time being.
