LITTLE VALLEY — Charles F. Milks, 86, of Allegany Road, Little Valley, Town of Napoli, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025.

Charles was born June 16, 1939, in Napoli,  the son of John Hiram and Ethel Ellen Francis Milks.

He attended Little Valley High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served from 1959 through 1965.

Charles, along with his wife Priscilla, owned and operated their family dairy farm on Allegany Road in Napoli. Charles and Priscilla were no strangers to working hard, identifying a need, and filling it.

Aside from operating the dairy farm, Charles and Priscilla built and operated several successful service-based businesses that supported other local farmers in the area. These services included a mobile field service and repair business, a custom lime spreading service, a liquid manure spreading service and a rust proofing business.  Charles was a non-degreed engineer, mechanic and problem solver and enjoyed designing, fabricating, operating and maintaining his equipment and trucks.

Charles served on the Napoli Town Board for 40-plus years.

Charles and Priscilla loved hosting gatherings with family and friends, such as their annual Labor Day Pig Roast.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Jim) Williams of Little Valley; his son, Brian (Michelle) Milks of Chardon, Ohio; and daughter-in-law, Teresa (Ramsten) Milks of Liberty, Mo. He is also survived by siblings, Marlene Webster of Dunkirk, Sherwood Milks of Tampa, Fla. and Raymond Milks of Arcade; six grandchildren, Michael (Kate) Williams, Aaron Williams, Connor (Sarah) Milks, Allison Milks, Angela (Chris) Wassmuth and Danielle (Kevin) Pentz; eight great-grandchildren, Kase, Amara, Alivia, Oscar, Drew, Braden, Ryan and Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his wife of 62 years, Priscilla A. Shaffer Milks, married Aug. 15, 1960, who passed on Oct. 17, 2022. He was also predeceased by his son, Charles James Milks in 2019; sister, Martha Slater; and brothers, John Milks and Eugene Milks.

The family received relatives and friends Sunday (Dec. 14, 2025) at the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. A service was held Monday (Dec. 15, 2025) at the Funeral Home. Rev. W. Mike Trenchard will officiate.
