Ellicottville Ghost Walks returning for September, October
ELLICOTTVILLE — The Ellicottville Historical Society will again host ghost walks around Ellicottville, led by Town Historian Ellen Frank, on Friday nights this fall.
The first ghost walk will be on Friday, Sept. 26 with later walks scheduled for Oct. 3, 17 and 24. Cost for all walks is $15 per person, cash or check only. Frank will lead a special ghost walk on Halloween Night, Oct. 31, by reservation only and limited to 15 people.
Meet at the Village Gazebo in front of the town hall at 7 p.m. Walks will begin at 7:30 and go to the United Church of Ellicottville and the Ellicottville History Museum, followed by a walk to Jefferson Street Cemetery to visit a few graves.
This is a walk-at-your-own-risk event. A flashlight is recommended for walking through the cemetery. To learn more or sign your party up ahead of time or for more information, contact Frank at (716) 474-8528 or (716) 699-2276.
