The store is one of the pleasantest in town, having been fitted up neatly and in excellent taste. The store will be run by H.S. Thompson, as agent and manager, and we risk nothing in saying that it will draw a good trade. The stock will be mainly dry goods, hats and caps, and boots and shoes. A new stock in all these lines will be put in at once, and a good assortment constantly kept up.

In the course of the talk, Mr. Fancher made known that plans for the proposed lake on Red House Creek contemplate a body of water 64 acres in area and 30 feet deep. This is but one of seven lakes being planned, and on its shore the commission hopes to build its new headquarters building and tourist hotel.
