Seneca casinos getting ready for football season with Seneca Survivor pool

SALAMANCA — With training camp in full swing and the regular season just a few weeks away, the three Seneca Resorts & Casinos properties have launched a thrilling new way for fans to get in on the action and excitement of pro football.

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino are presenting Seneca Survivor, New York’s first officially sanctioned pro football survivor pool.

Kevin Nephew

“Our Seneca Sports Lounges are always exploding with energy and excitement throughout football season, and we are taking that excitement to a new level with the Seneca Survivor pool,” said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Gaming Corporation President and CEO. “Seneca Survivor is an unmatched experience.”

For a $50 cash entry fee, players can choose one pro football team to win each week and take their shot at successfully making it through the season, picking a different winning team each week. The final player left standing will walk away with 100% of all entry fees, or a guaranteed minimum $5,000 in cash.

The action starts with Week 1 of the regular season, beginning Sept. 4, and runs through the completion of the regular season schedule on Jan. 4, 2026. Registration is now open at all Seneca Sports Lounge locations. Players must be at least 21 years old to participate.

“This is a first-of-its-kind opportunity to lock in on all of the action from across the league every week and, for one lucky player, a chance to ride their prognosticating skills all the way to a big cash prize,” Nephew said. “There’s nothing like it.”

To participate, players must register in person at any of the three Seneca Sports Lounge locations prior to kickoff Thursday, Sept. 4. All picks throughout the season must be submitted in person during regular Sports Lounge hours at the same Seneca Sports Lounge location where the player is registered.

Players can have a limit of five active entries at any given time. Entry fees are $50 cash per entry. If players stumble out of the box, they can re-buy losing Week 1 entries before Week 2 for an additional $50 cash re-buy fee. Each team can only be selected once per season per entry throughout the pool. Selection changes are not allowed after submission.

Weekly submission deadlines will be:

10 a.m. Wednesday – 8 p.m. Thursday for Thursday games.

10 a.m. Wednesday – Prior to kickoff for the Week 1 Friday night game; Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas Day games; and the Week 16 and Week 17 Saturday games.

10 a.m. Wednesday – 9 p.m. Saturday for Sunday and Monday games.

For program details and information on how you can get in on the action, visit any Seneca Sports Lounge location to register or go online at SenecaNiagaraCasino.com, SenecaAlleganyCasino.com or SenecaBuffaloCreekCasino.com for more information.
