Salamanca Kiwanis honors upcoming grads
SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Kiwanis Club celebrated the accomplishments of several area high school seniors on June 7 with its 20th annual graduation awards presentation.
Award winners were Emily Benjamin, Ryanna Brady, Summer Downey, Jacob Herrick, Cory Holleran and Xavier Peters from Salamanca City Central School District, Addison John from Ellicottville Central School and Madelia Griffith from Randolph Central School.
Kiwanis President Billie Breazeale introduced the guests and presented the students with the awards. Vice President Vicki Slevinski led the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the invocation, and Secretary Ann Smith gave the benediction. All the attendees enjoyed a brunch at the Salamanca Area Senior Center.
