SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Public Library will be changing its hours beginning April.
The library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
A celebration of National Unicorn Day on April 9 will be held at 4 p.m. Take part in simple crafts and stories all about unicorns. Space is limited, so call ahead to reserve a spot at 945-1890.
For those who missed storytime, the library is happy to announce it will be offered again Saturdays at 10 a.m. beginning April 10. Individuals over the age of two must wear a mask while in the library.
The library is also working towards starting a Friends of the Library group and will hold its first informal meeting on April 15 at 6 p.m. Those interested in learning more about this group, which will assist the library in fundraising to help offset recent budget cuts, are welcome to stop by.
