Inter-Church women to meet
CATTARAUGUS — The Inter-Church Women recently met for lunch in Cattaraugus and made plans for the coming year. The members will meet at the Brooklyn Church on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. Everyone should bring an idea for a project for November.
East Otto firemen plan fall BBQ
EAST OTTO — The East Otto firemen will be holding their fall chicken barbecue on Sunday, Oct. 13 at the fire hall. The chicken will be ready about 11 a.m.
Those attending may eat in, or take-outs are available. Homemade ie is always a special feature at the barbecue.
Historical building to open Oct. 13
EAST OTTO — The East Otto Historical Building will be open Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The historical building is next door to the fire hall, so folks attending the barbecue can also stop in and view the display of historical articles at the building.
This will be the final time the historical building is open this year. Dates for next year will be announced in the spring.
