LITTLE VALLEY — Democrat Mary Ann Powley, Republican Monroe Bishop and Michael Bushnell will tentatively face off for the supervisor position in the town of Hinsdale elections this November, according to unofficial election results released Tuesday.
In the Democratic primary, Powley, a councilman, received 30 votes and Bushnell received 25 votes. In the Republican primary, Bishop, a former Hinsdale town councilman, received 68 votes and Bushnell received 29 votes. Bishop also has the Independence Party line.
The vote signals a three-way race, as Bushnell is also running on the Conservative Party line in November.
Hinsdale Supervisor Thomas Hooper was not on the ballot after he decided not to seek reelection for the office, which carries a two-year term.
Absentee ballots will not be tallied until after Sept. 19, the last day to receive votes postmarked by Sept. 11.
The town also held a vote on two councilman positions which resulted in Ronald Brown receiving 67 votes, Douglas Wilson receiving 57 votes and Gerald Maerten receiving 35 votes.

ALLEGANY
The Conservative primary for two councilmen positions resulted in incumbent Robert Parker receiving seven votes, incumbent James Hitchcock receiving six votes and Kathleen Schaeper receiving one vote. Parker and Hitchcock, both Republicans, are also on the Independence Party line.
The Conservative primary for town justice resulted in Justice David Porter receiving seven votes and Anne Marie Raymond receiving zero votes. Porter, a Republican, is also on the Independence line. Raymond is listed on the Democratic line.
DAYTON
The GOP primary for town supervisor resulted in a tie with incumbent Mark Smith receiving 87 votes and challenger Angie Mardino-Miller receiving 87 votes. There was also one write-in. Mardino-Miller is also running on the Independence Party line in November.
FREEDOM
The GOP primary for town justice resulted in incumbent Gary Chamberlain receiving 78 votes and challenger Jennifer Daugherty receiving six votes, with one write-in. Chamberlain is also running on the Conservative and Independence lines. Daugherty is running on the Democratic line.
ISCHUA
The GOP primary for town supervisor resulted in incumbent Jeffrey Goodyear receiving 34 votes and Robert Frank Jr. receiving seven votes. Goodyear is also running on the Independence Party line in November.
PERRYSBURG
Democrats cast 16 write-in candidates for a four-year councilman position. The prospective nominee will run against Republicans Jennifer Dabolt and Richard Gabel, incumbents on the Perrysburg Town Board.
PORTVILLE
The GOP primary for highway superintendent resulted in Todd Shaw receiving 65 votes and Jeffrey Lynn receiving 65 votes. After absentee ballots are tabulated, the winner will face Christopher Holcomb, who filed as an independent candidate, in the November election.
