Cattaraugus-Little Valley (14-2) earned a home opening playoff match in Section 6 Class D volleyball play, seeded third and hosting No. 6 North Collins on Friday.

Coach Heather Kagelmacher’s Timberwolves have only lost to Portville this season. The top two seeds in Class D are Lafayette and Maple Grove, respectively, while defending champion Panama is a No. 5 seed.

C-LV last won an overall sectional title in 2009 in Class D, though in 2014 a merged C-LV/Ellicottville team won the C-2 title before falling to Eden.

Also in Class D, Ellicottville (7-9) received the seventh seed and visits No. 2 Maple Grove on Friday.

Randolph earned the No. 8 seed and hosts No. 9 Clymer in a first-round match Wednesday.

In the C2 bracket, ninth-seeded Salamanca (0-16) visits No. 8 Holland Wednesday, with the winner facing No. 1 Cassadaga Valley.
