SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Public Library is looking for people who have a collection they would like to share with the community.

Collections would be displayed in the library in a secure case for one month. If you have something you think others would be interested in seeing, please call the library at 945-1890.

Starting in June the library will be hosting two new book clubs for adults.

Radical Reads will focus on books that have been challenged or censored in the past. Our first book is “Nineteen Minutes” by Jodi Picoult, which tells the story of a school shooting and the impact it had on the community. Radical Reads will meet June 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Our Bibliophile’s Book Club will also have their first meeting on June 27 at 1 p.m. The group will be reading “Sharp Objects” by Gillian Flynn.

The library’s Story Time program meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Families are welcome to attend to listen to stories and do simple crafts.

LEGO Club meets the second Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. and is for children ages 6-12.
