SALAMANCA — David R. Dille Jr., 46, of Salamanca, was charged at approximately 8:37 p.m. July 18 with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of drug paraphernalia following a joint investigation conducted by the Salamanca Police Department and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.

The charges stem from a search warrant executed at 545 East State Street, upper apartment, in Salamanca, where detectives allegedly located methamphetamine, marijuana, scales and packaging.

Dille was transported to the Salamanca Police Department where he was held pending arraignment. More charges could be pending on the completion of the investigation.

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Salamanca Police Department were assisted at the scene by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
