SALAMANCA — The Southern Tier Regional Task Force and Salamanca Police Department made another drug arrest Thursday evening, Nov. 7, following an investigation.

A search warrant for 95 Jefferson St., Salamanca, resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, scales and packaging material.

William L. Wilder, 45, who reportedly lived at the address, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. Police report that more charges are pending on the completion of the investigation.

Wilder was held at the Salamanca City Police Department pending arraignment in Salamanca City Court Friday.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
